The Canson "Biggie" Sketch Pad contains fine-quality, bright white paper for pencil and charcoal. It's an excellent surface for a reasonable price. Tape-bound pads are bound on the short side, in a portrait format. Spiral-bound pads, available with the same paper, are bound on the long side, in a notebook format. The paper is 50 lb (74 gsm) weight, and acid-free.
