General Overview
This popular eraser kneads easily into any shape, erases cleanly, and picks up all residue. It's excellent for removing or highlighting pencil, chalk, charcoal, and pastel.
Tips, Tricks & How-Tos
Kneaded Erasers are great to use for subtler effects than a regular eraser. Unlike a regular eraser, the particle of graphite or charcoal that you are removing from your work are absorbed by the eraser rather than being discarded in erasure like in a normal eraser. Once a kneaded eraser is saturated with charcoal or graphite powder, it is no longer helpful as an eraser. However, it can now be used as a great drawing tool as the excess powder in the eraser is just enough to subtly cover a drawing surface. Also, as much fun as it is to knead the eraser, you can also exhaust the eraser if you play around with it too much.
