Tips, Tricks & How-Tos
The three different variaties of this gel are great for creating different textures. The Fine Grain is very much like sandpaper and is very subtle. With the Extra Course, the pieces of Pumice are about the size of a sunflower seed. The coarse is somewhere in between these two. Almost every store that sells these have a sample of each varitey so you can be the judge. In general, the Gel does manage to hold it's shape, you can get more depth by adding additional Gel (Golden Heavy Gel). Also, you can mix paint into the Pumice Gel, however, you must note that the pumice does have a grey tint to it that will affect the color which you add. For Additional Textures, you might consider using Golden Garnet Gel
