SDF (sustainable design fiberboard) is a Medium density fiberboard (MDF) that is sustainable. MDFs are made of wood fibers press together with either wax or resin, and formed into panels. MDF does not have a grain to it, but is much weaker (albeit much cheeper) than Plywood.

Great wood for making jigs, and low cost furniture.

Do not use in any wet conditions. It will expand, and start to fall apart.
