A Material Safety Data Sheet or MSDS is a form containing data regarding the properties of a particular substance or product. MSDS information may include instructions for the safe use and potential hazards associated with a certain chemical. The forms are created in order to inform those who work in an environment where these products are continualy used.

The MSDS is required to state the chemical's risks, safety and impact on the environment. Also, in the US, MSDS forms are required to be available by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Therefore, they could be seen as a great resource for any product in question.
