General Overview

Abbreviation for PolyEthylene Terephthalate Glycol. Clear sheet plastic like Plexiglas, but lacks the brittleness. PETG can be bent, sheered, and molded. PetG possesses many of the same properties of Styrene and many of the same techniques can be applied.

  • The clarity is less than that of Plexiglas, but is hardly noticeable.
  • More expensive than Plexiglas.

Can be molded in the vacuum former.
